Welcome to the Wolverhampton National Trust Conservation Volunteers website. The WNTCV is an outdoor conservation group carrying out work on behalf of the National Trust at properties throughout Staffordshire and Shropshire.
The Conservation group was formed in 1980 to carry out voluntary work primarily at Wightwick Manor. The group has expanded since its early days although the same enthusiasm remains.
Our members come from across the West Midlands, Black Country, Staffordshire and Shropshire and from a wide variety of backgrounds. We enjoy working in the outdoors and learning new skills. It’s a good
opportunity to meet new people and make friends as we usually work as a team.
We arrange workdays every Sunday, although our members attend when it is convenient for them. We spend the
day working with National Trust Wardens on National Trust land.
As well as the regular workdays we also arrange a number of working weekends and social events throughout the year.
